Who’s buying up the developing world?

Across the developing world, land is being bought up — by corporations, foreign governments and even universities.

It’s often done behind the scenes and is difficult to find out who is doing what. The Guardian reports on a new database that seeks to document who is investing and where. The database report is accompanied with an interactive map (below is just screen grab):
