Watch how U.S. foreign aid flows

Here is an interesting way to visualize where U.S. foreign aid money has gone over time.

From the Aid Data blog, Ashley Ingram, a student studying economics and sociology at William and Mary College, used a little software wizardy to portray dollar amounts given to countries as geographic size. You’ll note that Egypt and Israel are pretty large most years.
