Happy Wattle and Snood Day

Wild turkey

Happy Thanksgiving!

The human behind Humanosphere is planning to take off to celebrate Turkey Day.

This is our day of giving thanks. It’s a feasting holiday with the table traditionally centered around the domesticated version of a native bird the pilgrims mistakenly thought had somehow gotten here from the country of Turkey. It’s true. Look it up.

The wattle is that loose skin under the turkey’s neck and the snood is that goofy flap of skin on top of its beak. Just thought you’d want to know.

Thanks for your interest and participation in this blog and online news site. And thanks for your interest in making the world a better place.

Best
