Monsanto and its GMO seeds continue to rankle worldwide

For some reason, Memorial Day weekend was also designated as a day for worldwide protest against the agri-chemical giant Monsanto and its promotion of genetically modified seeds. Protesters marched in Seattle, targeting the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation even though the philanthropy appears to have reduced its investment in Monsanto‘s approach to agricultural improvement  — along with some 400 other locations.
