Drs. Corey and Wang sign agreement

Seattle’s Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center today signed a formal agreement to work in scientific collaboration with the Chinese Center for Disease Control.

Fred Hutchinson, which has several international research initiatives underway and was already working with the Chinese on HIV vaccine studies, is looking to expand its role in global health science.

This collaboration was made official at a signing ceremony today featuring China CDC Director General Yu Wang, M.D., Ph.D., and incoming Hutchinson Center President and Director Larry Corey, M.D.
