Op-Ed: It’s time to shine a light – and change the rules – on the ‘poverty creation industry’

This is a provocative op-ed in ThinkAfricaPress by an insightful Seattle friend of mine, Joe Brewer, his colleagues Martin Kirk and Alnoor Ladha who have launched a new project - called /The Rules - aimed at changing the way we think about poverty. I noted their work last November when their position, somewhat surprisingly, appeared on the Gates Foundation blog accusing tax cheats of fueling poverty.
